The Spanish Police is about to buy 51 of them in order to retire the older BO-105.

I don't know much about these Eurocopter birds, but from what I've seen they are pretty solid performers.
My vote goes with the McDonnell Douglas MD900 though for one reason: NOTAR.

Apache = 1 vote, well I suppose that it has enough "equipment" to face traffic jamming or bank robbery :cantbeli:
Loudspeaker - This is the police... Stop running! Surrender and give up your weapons! Surrender now or we will be forced to use anti-tank missiles on your little Ford Pinto.

hmmm in big city smaller is usually better MDD should be ok (or Polish SW4) but new euro law about air is realy hard for 1 eingine helos (like SW4, MDD, A-Star) thay cant fly in city area so better buy something with 2engines euro helos are ok but my national pride tells me to vote on Sokół, few of them flys in Polish police and they fly more than bell helos (we have 2 bell 206) and one or two Sokół helos fly in german polizei(or they were flying few years ago) :)
Should have gotten apaches... :P
