Remington have ceased making the MK1 some time ago. My Google Fu was not strong enough to find the date of that. It was adopted by the Marines in 1966, but again I was not able to find out if that also was the year production started (which is not necessarily the case). Please be so kind to point me to the sites that would take me directly to the answer. Thanks!
