That's the rover that just recently landed, called Opportunity. Spirit and Opportunity are two separate rovers on a joint mission, but Spirit landed earlier this month.

To bad they've only got one rover working right now since Spirit fell in a hole. (Just a guess, I dont know whats actually wrong with it.)

It did not fell in a hole exactly.. it had to much files for its brains to handle :cantbeli:

As jpl nasa said there was an access problem on its flash memory ( the same thing used on digital cameras ) due to large number of files that caused it communications malfunctioning.. its on a state of revival at the moment.. they are cleaning up unecessary files on it ( **** pics? j/k).

Hope it will be up and running soon.. I am really excited to see little green marsian men..
