I'm an CI with the Space Cadets, and I have/had one of these. They are crappy and not worth the hassle of having to sweep up your kit after yourself - and this is through cadet use - God know's what you weekend warriors will make of them!!!
Instead, I managed to get my hands on an old style fold out trauma pouch - but they are rare as rocking horse sh!te these days. Alternatively you could get a utility pouch and one of the lifesystems first aid kits and stuff it inside. Nope - it's not as cool - but it's as practical!

Was thinking that its effectivly two FFD pouches and a utility pouch in one. Im a skinny bastard and cant fit thatmany pouches on my belt. so having them in combination was going to be handy.
Hassle of scattering your kit? - Thats personal admin mate nothing to do with the gear. Only ever have one pouch open, etc

Fair one - why not FFD onto your yoke?

Personal admin is well squared away. The scattering of kit is a reference to past experience with this pouch where it ruptured and haemoraged by kit everywhere - and despite being a dab hand at field housewiving, nobody was able to repair it!

I dont like things on my yoke, it looks a bit unnecessarily warry, and tangles with your PRR pressel, bergen, day sack, rifle stock, etc, and as soon as you go ****e im always sure htyell snag and burst.
Ive bought one now anyway, it holds a 1.5 litre water bottle perfectly freeing my util pouch for jetboil, and odds and sods, hopefully wont have to go to my bergen at all. I prefer living out of my webbing even if it is heavier I prefer alot of small pockets (easier to manage) than the chasm of a bergen!
Have seen the bit that will fray through and will get some reinforcing webbing onto it ****to, until then Ill jsut have to treat it gently

Bought them - used them, Excellent idea, but sadly let down by crap single stitching and not doubling over - no taped seams etc!
Cheers Webtex! Muggers!
