Future Combat Systems Technology Demonstration Day
The Future Combat Systems Technology Demonstrated Day will be held September 21 at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., and will feature the Army's holistic approach to designing and producing a family of manned and unmanned systems that are fully networked, information based, and integrated across the Army as part of the Joint Team.
With FCS, the Army takes advantage of technologies as they are developed and expeditiously puts them into the hands of Soldiers.
Future Combat Systems is the Army's modernization program consisting of a family of manned and unmanned systems, connected by a common network that enables the modular force in providing our Soldiers and leaders with leading-edge technologies and capabilities allowing them to dominate in complex environments.
This demonstration is a unique opportunity for military and civilian leaders and the media to experience first-hand the tangible developments and various technologies resulting from the FCS concept, and how they will enhance the Soldier's capabilities in future conflicts. It will also allow subject matter experts to explain what these advancements mean to Soldiers and how the FCS will give them distinct combat advantages.
