Yeah, they're real good. My favorite down to earth American rock band of yore, besides the Doors.

Liked 'em pretty much until I saw a documentary on the band. John Fogerty is pretty much a ***** with feet. **** on his brother and the other guys for years. Wouldn't even bury the hatchet when his brother was in his last days from cancer.

(Oooooo! Spooky! This was post number "666". )

CCR are the most legendary band ever! I grew up with their music, thanks to my best friends older brothers.

My all time favorite is 'Suzi Q' especially when it was used in the movie Apocalypse Now

I used to when I was 16/17,..when I was feeling hippy. You know how it was war in country etc,...Then I switched to hard rock and metal hendrix deep purple maiden etc,..Here goes song!

Fortunate Son

Some folks are born made to wave the flag,
Ooh, they're red, white and blue.
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief",
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord,
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son.
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no,
Yeah!

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes,
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no.
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no.

Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord,
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh,
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son.
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one.
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no,
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no,

I love credence. Theres also a new band with the initials CCR - Cross Canadian Ragweed. They're country, but they still kick ass.

CCR was the American band that really ended the British Invasion. After the Beach Boys gave way to the Beatles, Stones, Who, Dave Clark 5 etc., CCR was THE band that saved American rock.

Fortunate Son
Born on the Bayou
Green River
Bad Moon Rising
Run Through the Jungle
Who'll Stop the Rain
Down on the Corner
Lookin' Out My Back Door

Hell, even their B-sides were cool...
