Going by what I know, those are SAS-style desert smocks -- one looks like a temperate DPM smock -- tiger stripe pants on two of them, plus one with a Claymore bag. Not to mention the L119A1s they're sporting. :)
What I would really like to know, is what chest rigs and armor they're wearing, and also what type of holsters, boots, and gloves they have on.
Any help would be appreciated. :)

The smock is a Smock, Combat Windproof Desert DP (ie the new arctic smock in desert DPM) not the 'SAS' smock - you can tell by the bigger wired hood.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/BlackBeret/Military%20Related%20Images/UKSF-4.jpg
Sting's smock is a old style SAS smock (can't read the label on mine - it's too faded), but the new style one is Smock Combat, Cammouflage Windproof (Modified), Woodland DP.
For the spotters, UKSF tend to wear the arctic (ie normal, non SF style) desert smocks far more than the 'SAS' style ones.
The body armour is the standard (covert) issue stuff - no idea who makes it. Sting's gloves look like green or black RAF flying gloves (v. common with UKSF) and his boots look like black HiTec Magnums.

Possibly a grab bag from the vehicle? He doesn't appear to be wearing webbing so it may contain a spare radio (or radio for a different net) and spare ammo. Pure speculation of course, just looks as though it was a bit of a hasty op .....

And on the catwalk tonight you will also notice the "Iraqi Prisioner" model wearing the latest in Milan jandels. These were designed by Versace to be be tough- but yet elegant- on the streets of Baghdad or Mousel.

Indeed ....... bloody expensive though :D !
Could also be used as throwing stars in the style of Austin Powers "Random Task" if needs be.

As for the claymore bag, well they make excellent grab bags as Beer Monster pointed out,the problem is the strap isn't that adjustable, but they're excellent for carrying radios, maps, and spare mags,we have something similar as well!!

They're more of an alternative to webbing than a grab bag. Especially useful when working in vehicles, or on ops that simply don't require all the kit you'd carry in your belt kit. They're useful in 'covert' ops in civvies as they look like a civvy shoulderbag. Tend to carry a radio, mags and maybe a grenade or two in them.

If it works and it's stupid, it's not stupid. Are you seriously saying the value of an item of kit must determine what it's carried in? i'd stuff a 35 grand MILAN rocket in a 10 quid cricket bag if it made it handy to carry...

Anyway don't forget this is the British Army - the MOD aren't going to waste good money equipping us properly when they don't have to
does sting have a sling? doesn't look like it unless it's a single point attached to the stock. in the second pic from the top the shooter on the left also appears to not be using a sling, unless it's cuffed.
is this usual?
lancejack

Its not unusual - rifles used for SAS selection always used to have the sling swivels removed to make sure they were carried properly. You can also see the cord in the first photo that looks like its used as a tether to prevent the rifle being torn from his hands in a scuffle.

From what I've read, it's a Regiment SOP not to use slings on rifles, sling swivels make noise so they are either removed or taped down. The only time slings are used is when they assault buildings wearing the black kit.....

Deadly serious, you try getting in and out of a landrover with a chestrig on in an ambush, like I said,we used grab bags for the best part of last year, because we were low profile, now the ante's up and everyone knows who you are there's no point,so most blokes wear blackhawk vests now,I wear a WASATCH,but back to the pic,we have a former Regiment bloke here as a security manager, and he carries his kit in a claymore bag!! ;)

I found this holster which looks sort of like the one in the photo.

Would that other black-strapped thing on Sting's leg be a knife sheath/holster?
And how about that small ear piece that guy has on? Is that standard issue or something else?

Other thing on the leg is probably an knee pad thats slipped down to the ankle when not in use.
2 differnet types of ear peice in use. One looks like a Motorola but not sure about the other one I'll leave that to any scaley back friends out there to answer.
