It's pleasing to see the interest in the video I made, lots of downloads in a short space of time.
I have created this thread in order to answer any questions regarding the video in particular or Danish UN forces in the Balkans in general at the time, and if any of you got comments regarding the video.
regards.

I think it was pretty cool, gunfire here and there and "BOOM!". Crazy that those UN guys were just standing there and then the Serb's just walk by like "hey, hi, how you doing?".
Good video.

Yes it was intersting to watch. Just one question though, those men running on the field on the right side of the village. Was those croats?

A question.
After seeing the boombox, there were some heavy fighting laying onto some houses. Can anyone guess what they are? Light machine or AAA, etc.

anonymous individual,
Seemed to me as light AAA..

This is SPAAG with 3x20mm oerlikon cannon..

It was Croat troops walking by and there was an exchange of odd stares sort of a mutual "jeeze you guys are crazy".

No visual shots of incomming, busy taking cover ;) Although some of the explosions you hear are hits in the camp or in the surroundings. In the video, after the first missile has hit a target, you hear a loud explosion that was a house being hit about 60 meters from where I was standing.
The position from which I filmed the village being targeted with Croat AA fire, was hit by Serb AA fire and that was after the TOW APC had been targeted by the same AA canon.
Mustamato:

Those soldiers running on the right side of the village were Croat soldiers trying to capture the ridgeline held by Serb forces.

The targets were Serb military and they were being attacked by Croat troops. Maybe I should work on a subtitle version?? :D

The fire hitting the houses was 20 mm AA fire, most likely bov in either towed or selfpropelled tripple barrel version. At one point there is a concentration of 20 mm fire on one spot, that is a Serb combat position being hit.
Later as the fighting slowed down, our camp was evacuated due to the fact that it wasn't possible to carry out the mandate anymore and should the fighting flare up again there wasn't any need for us being there, as we weren't allowed to interveen anyway (our mandate were peacekeeping not peace enforcing) No need to be sitting ducks right ;)
