I love my MFF...SORD make some seriously kick ass gear. They have some great people working for them too - makes the difference.

All the guys here in Canada have had nothing but good to say about our order - thanks, mates.

MILITARY FREE FALL (MFF) RIG

The MFF rig was designed as an ultra low profile platform for soldiers that have limited movement and space. Lead climbers, free fall parachutists, drivers etc will all benefit from such a platform.

Any plans to do something like the hardface but with reinforced, padded elbows? Would it damage my existing one to add some elbow padding?

Hey SORD, what would you reccommend for a DFSW gunner ?

Not sure if its worth transferring to a Chest Rig, as i'm usually only carrying a heap of link. :)

Belt pad patrol order and as many 200 round pouches as you can fit

The SORD Utility jacket is in the pipeline. That may be close to what you are after

No timeframe yet

a smart LBV with big pouches also seems to be the trick
ive got an SAW and had extra link pouches sewn on sideways on the LHS this leaves my stock shoulder free

just noticed a new product under development for police use or something, maybe SORD can elaborate:

I've just bought the MFF rig and think it should have a fastex clip at the bottom of it. It has 2 fastex for the shoulder straps but not for the bottom (not really waist) strap. So l cannot dump it/get it off in a hurry at all. Future versions should have that changed.

Thanks for the feedback Viktor.

It is something we are going to look at in the future.

Give us a call if you want to discuss it further.

Appreciated - Im still playing with the MRR and considering one of your zippered pouches for it (havent decided yet). Presently I only have a waterbottle holder on it. Would like to have w/bottle, a general zippered pouch and perhaps a small pouch for a folder/multi-tool. That s my personal layout - others of course can have their own which is the beauty of going modular.

Agree with what was said above - the new kit under development look interesting, such as AUS-digital and the hardface trou.

cheers

Hello SORD,

I was wondering if there are any differences between the SORD Hard Face Jacket and the SPEAR Jacket thats been issued to some of the US SF.

If there is, what are the differences?

Thanks
