If you listen carefully right at the end you can here what sounds like his mum saying "oh honey!" or something like that. and if you slow it down you can see his arm is still intacked afterwards but I think he fell to the ground after a few seconds. Genius..

A chemical, they probably used "Clorox" bleach. It also comes in powder form for cleaning pools and what not.
