who pilots Apache and Blackhawk choppers?
army/navy/air force/marines
or all of the above?
thanks p-)
God Bless our Troops!!!
Someone else is no doubt better suited to answering this, but I think all US Apaches belong to the Army.
There are a lot of Black Hawk versions, most are probably Army but the Air Force also has quite a few. Don't know about the Coast Guard but the Navy's Hawks are mostly of the Sea Hawk variety.
All of them except the Marines. I think the Navy variant is called the Sea Hawk.
Whoops! Forgot you asked about the Apache. That's only Army.

Army flies AH64 Apache, RAH66 Comanche, Blackhawk (UH-60 variants), KH58 Kiowa, AH-6 Little Bird, MH46 Chinook...I think that's it.
Navy flies SH60 Seahawk (like a Blackhawk, but modified for Anti-submarine warfare etc.)
Air Force flies HH60 Pave Hawk and MH53 Pave Low for rescue/insert/extract special ops personnel.
that's the quick and dirty version. I'm sure others will fill in where I've made errors.
