Anyone have the new(ish) Talon? Would love to see some pictures of the interior, in use etc. Didnt find **** in search function.

Fantastic pack! May be a little pricey for some but an excelent all around pack. It'll handle more internally than it seems at first. I have an olive drab one and I love it. Navy EOD uses the pack extensively on VBSS/Specwar related missions. I was with EODMU2 in Little Creek this summer on a Midshipman summer cruise and that persuaded me to get one. That was all I needed to know about the reliability of the pack. Also, don't buy direct from C.Bak. I got mine for $150 from Ranger Joe's I believe.

Looks nice for sure... but its too complicated for my taste. Some 10 fastex buckles to fight with at start, fancy placed zippers. Ill stick to some more conservative design. Looks futuristic.

We think It's pretty funny. Some of it is legit, but none of it is filmed at Annapolis and the academy doesn't endorse it. Ironically, I had a summer cadre my Plebe summer named Cole too. He was a big black man as well. It may turn out to be the G.I. Jane equivalent of Annapolis movies. A genuine comedy for us academy types.
