does the Russian army too wear a pair of dog tags????
I don t know what kind of dog tag this is hmm....
If I remember correctly from what 16 OBr SpN said the Specnaz have simple plain jane dog tags, so just some numbers on a boring metal plate, that's it. No fancy flags or skulls...

Theres some dogtags of similar design, as for if that is a real russian dog tag thats best answered by Obr or someone who's had some time in the Russian army.

I read somewhere that Russian Army dogtags have the wearer's blood type inscribed on them. I wonder why other militaries don't do that.

I found something like it on this site...and then on a few others, they have tags for lots of units...are they seriously all souvenirs?
Unless the US Special Forces are using this

This is nothing but just another attempt to make money off of people!
Just like all those "spetsnaz marshall arts instructors".
They are nothing but cockroaches trying to make money out of someone else's blood and sweat, spilled while protecting scumbags like them! :fork:
Sometimes they are plain funny, but sometimes...

Surely all professional militaries do that - name, number, blood group and religion on their dogtags. The religion bit might be optional in some forces though.
