Azle, Texas (AHN) - Clarks Precision Machine and Tool is making an F-18E flight simulator available to high-end home theater owners.

The move is considered risky due to the negative press associated with simulators andpilot training devices after the fatal attacks on September 11th.

Recent military spending cuts in major programs including the F-22, F-16, andF-35 (JSF) programs, is seeking new customers for sales of their military training products.

The "Micro" simulators are used by the U.S. military as an affordable training tool for freshman pilots to practice their curriculum prior to taking exams and course tests.

In high-end home theaters, buyers can use the device in various ways, typically "joy riding." The military flight simulators are currently available for $68,000.00.

The simulator is an exact duplicate of the Boeing/McDonald Douglas F-18 Hornet, down to every instrument, switch, dial, and push button found in the real aircraft.http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7000327221
