That was prerendered. I am guessing it was done on a computer like a movie computer graphic. It may be not actually using the game engine.

I was just going to comment on that. If those are in-game shots, wow. If they are just computer renders of the models and skins in progress, well, we'll see.

It won't matter how good it looks in still-frames.
When you play the game the animations will still look fake.

Actually, they usually look worse in still-frames. When you are playing it all blends together and you don't notice the small inperfections.

No. It tends to looks worse in motion. Because a game can never be as fluent as real life is.

Look at the screen shots above. They all seem a little jagged around the players and such. They is the same with all video games. When you are actually playing the game it all flows together so you don't notice or see the jagged edges or small imperfections.

I think his comment is on the actual player animations, which in alot of these games, looks very unnatural. Hopefully they used motion capture and managed to make things seem more fluid than they often are.

I was talking about the animations. You know, when the players are moving.
Those always look like crap in sport games. And they probably will in this game to.
It doesn't matter if you can see the players's sweat if they look like puppet trying to play basketball.
Do you understand me now?

Motion capturing in games rarely looks good. The most realistic looking sports game was Pro evolution soccer, which had no motion capturing at all.
It's not about being realistic, it's about looking realistic.

If you think that looks pre-rendered you're a retard. Sorry but you are. Thats virtually the ONLY sports game for the new consoles that ISNT pre-rendered and if you dont believe me look at the intial shots for whatever new football game they have going around. The jagged edges and unsmooth textures lead me to believe that these are unpolished models at best but completely ingame
