I had heard the M/96 was a Diemaco C8FTHB, not a simple FT. Also, where's the OP suffix coming from? Does that just mean its fitted with an optical sight?

What about the Madsen SMG?

Is not in service with Danish forces and has only ever been used in small numbers by the police.

Cheers

"med Optisk Sigte" = "with optical sight". That's fairly easy even if you don't speak or read the language.

Yes, but Jomfru Madsen alias the Mg M/48 has been obsolete for some time now as well ;)
