I was talking to my father on the telephone this morning when suddenly something became very clear to me. There's no escaping heredity. My father has got hemorrhoids and high blood pressure, which pretty much means that one day I'll have hemorrhoids and high blood pressure. I can wait. Tell me what nightmares lie ahead for you in the hereditary defect department.

I'll go bald at the age of 40.

I started going grey at 19 which to be honest doesn't bother me at all, but as soon as I start to lose it I'll shave the lot.

On my mom's side its nothing but a few heart murmurs at old age, nothing too serious, just eat right and get good excersise.

On my dad's side its possible chance for Parkinsons. Good God, I hope I don't get that. :(

But my family has strong people. My Mother's father is 6' 7'', and my Father's father was is 6' and 300 lbs bench at least. Either way, I'm fortunate to have heathy strong genes.

With all due respect to you and your father Gaz, if I had a choice between going bald and living with an indignity like having a horse apple up my ass, I think I'd go with having a little less hair up on top. You got off light Gazzy Boy, and you should be kissing your father's balding ass right now because of it.

You've had worse stuff in your arse, why would an apple bother you?

I don't like the implication there Gaz. Truth be told, I've never had anything in my asshole larger than a fist or less loving than a dildo.

Hey Doom, I'll let you in on a little secret. Cancer runs ramped in everybodys family. From the food we eat to air that we breath. It's part of our environment. Just consider yourself lucky if you see 50 without ever getting a hemorrhoid.

Nothing realy bad in my family. Heart problems at old age of corse but nothing more serious than that. Just sucks that I wont grow past 5'8". my moms 5'2", I dont know how tall my dad was, but he probably wasn't much talller than us. I was 5'8" 5 years ago and havent grown since. My big bro is hasn't grown any taller either and neither has my lil bro. We all grew pretty dam fast but we wont grow anymore, were all the same height. Everyone in my family is under 6feet tall, except for my greek uncle.

edit: LOL after I wrote this I noticed the "Want to Grow Taller? click here" add at the bottom of the page. http://www.growtallerguide.com/

My hair has been going grey since I was 16. Like you said, cancer is going to kill everyone at some point so that is a given. The only part that gets fat on the body in my family is the stomach area so that is going to suck.

I'm a little worried about balding. My dad and his dad are bald, but my mom's dad has a fair amount of hair. I'm hoping the 'mother's father' thing is true.

I've got a pretty good mix of genes athletically. All the men on my dad's side are tall and thin, and the men on my mom's side are big and thick. So, I'm 6'3, a lean 195lbs, I put on muscle fairly easy, but I have to eat pretty clean cause I put on fat even easier. It works out pretty well.

I've always heard that your hair will be determined by the grandfather's (or mother) of your moms side.

Clete Torres

Hey Evanfitz, don't worry about that hair **** for right now. You just worry about what it is that you're going to do with your **** when you're out with a young lady.

I may have heart problems one time or another since it is common on my fathers side of the family.
As for the hair, well I guess looking on my father it gets thinner in the 50`s, though I count on a cure until that happens to me.

Though I am seriously scared of losing my hair, I might even consider a hairtransplant.

Hey molly, I know about macular degeneration. I'm 34 and just this last year my eyesight started heading south for the first time. It runs in my Mother's side of the family too.

2. Mine's still not so bad that it cannot be camouflaged by the beard.
3. Doesn't that turkey head resemble your 'equipment' these days? I heard about your unfortunate contraction of a STD in Frisco.
