His "What the Hell was that" long range weapon is some kind of a game mod computer model - looks like some poor attempt at an HK weapon...

i've seen some other phonies in myspace. pretty funny.
one guy had all sorts of pics.
there were Ranger pics, SEAL pics, and he pointed himself out in each one. looked quite different in all the pics, people still buying it, posting comments.

Why do marines say "the few the proud" when there are "172,000 active and 40,000 reserve Marines as of 2005" ROFL

And compared to the Armys numbers there arn't very many of us around. I think the Army is reaching toward 1/2million men active duty.

I dont wanna sound disrespectfull i respect every military man but in my opinion theres nothing elite about the USMC they're just glorified infantry with a land air sea arsenal at their disposal.

It stinks that you dropped out of the USAFROTC. We can use all the men and women that we can get protecting our nation. Not only would you have just joined but you would have been an officer. I've been a U.S. Marine for nearly 5 years and i'm still just an E-8 Master Sergeant...don't get me wrong cuz Master Sergeant is a great rank to have but not even close to comparing to that of an officer. Anyway thanks for the add and Semper Fideles.

Here's a comment he left on his AFROTC buddy's page. Total f*cking tool.
Someone with a myspace account, please go on there and teach this guy a lesson. I can't stand this kinda ****.

Way to insult the Marines getting killed in Iraq. What a phony. I've invited the guy to be my friend on MySpace (just started a different one, just for him) and I am gonna chew his lying ass out on his little comment board.

If he hadn't posted his age, he could possibly have only been in the Marines for 5+ years and been an E-8 - if he had done his time in another branch before transferring over to the Marines. Doubtful, but I was an E-5 when I transferred to the Army.

Otherwise, smells like poser **** to me.

10-08-2005, 09:13 PM
well of course!

he's got a picture of a british soldier kissing a woman, in which he says he is kissing a wife.

his favorite books read like my high school summer reading list. and he uses the term soldier multiple times when he says he is a Marine!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that you can enter the Marines as anything higher than an E-2. Even if you were, say, an E-5 in the Army, you'll be dropped back down to E-2 if you transfer into the USMC.

This user has either cancelled their membership, or their acccount has been deleted.

LMAO!
Guess this was the wrong forum to get caught up by eh?
I kinda think, it should be the same as posing as a police officer?
I would imagin its quite illegal for me to make a myspace claiming to be a NY City Police officer? so what makes the marine corps any differant?

Yeah, if you start as an E-3 out of basic. My recruiter started out as an E-2, and was an E-5 with probably four or five years in. He's an E-6 now with six years in. E-5 in five is certainly not unreasonable.
