I was watching this documentary about it, it was very interesting. I thought we all spoke the same way except for francophones and newfies.
They mentioned South Park Movie when they were making fun of "about/aboot" and something else I cant remember. Which Canadians actually do say about...not aboot.

I know...
One of the main points was that Canadians use intonation close to the end of the sentence and that Americans use it near the begining.
Would make sense, I mean there's already big differences between different provinces in the Netherlands, while we're just about as big as one US state...
