I've heard that US ARMY is testing. Is a really amazing vehicle, i'm proud to have it in Spanish cavallery, with our VEC.
I prefer to have a big tourret to intimate the enemy, but not too big.

Italy use this turret (or similar) on Dardo.... I agree, it's really ridiculous!!! rofl rofl rofl but I think (hope!) it's an experimantal version of centauro because I've never see it before.

A so big vehicle with a so little turret.Here in spain when they had to choose the turret for vec they put one with a big gun it was more ridiculous than that.

I appreciate americans but i have to say that they are a bit too "autharchic" choosing stuffs for their army. We thought and developed the concept of Light Armored Chivalry before they did in their ACR-L's and instead of adopting a ready to use vehicle like our Centauro wasted lots of $ in developing the M8 AGS "Buford" that has the same basical concept: Light armoured, high mobility vehicle with high firepower through the 105 mm. gun useful to engage even MBT's. I know that's not simple as adopting a gun (like happened for Beretta M9 and FN M249 SAW and M240 MAG) but if it works and ready to use, why don't use it instead of do it on your own?

I agree with you but returning to the examples i did, they could ask to produce it in a facility on US territory, just like they did with Beretta (that built a factory in Maryland to produce the U.S. Army M9). I think that they can easily produce it under license in the same factories that builds M1A2 Abrams or M2A3 Bradley. Question of choices...
