It's a convoy light. A very dim light used so drivers following in convoy at night with (or without NVG's) can see the vehicle in front when the other normal vehicle lights are disabled.
UK armoured vehicles have a black and white striped square painted on the rear to be illuminated. Non armoured vehicles have a white patch on the rear or rear axle.

Is it standarized in NATO or so since i observed it on many diegos of diferent countries...???
APC= Armoured Personnel Vehicle. The driver´s helmet is the typical one for vehicle´s crew needing internal communication. Btw, Diego is not a way of calling spanish for a polish or who you ever come from any more.

Standard, I don't know, common, yes.
Like I said, the UK has a slightly different system, but it's pretty widespread across NATO.

I don't know, sure it has some sort of conection with Portugal. It was raised by Count of Pezuela de las Torres in (18.dec.1709) during the Felipe V reign. In 1718 it is named Lusitania. But I don't know the reason.

It was a region of Roman empire who took lands of Spain and south of Portugal. And Portugal was a part of Spain, but i really don't know why.

No it's not because of that, Marino means that during the roman rule in Spain , there was a province called Lusitania which included part of the actual Spain and Portugal. Just like Gallaecia (Galicia) Which included parts of Spain and Portugal, in fact the whole Iberian Penninsula was called Hispaniae.
And the Roman legions had also a very good monted units from the former Yugoslavia.
And why you call like taht, because Diego is a Spanish name?

ehem...This remember me of an american joke I read recently, the guy of the joke was polish, but his role wasn´t cool I´d say. Strange questions and stranges explanations the ones of Marmot btw.
Why are they named the Lusitania? Any reason?
About this old regiment, you can look here: http://www.ejercito.mde.es/organizacion/far/lusitania.html
And about the name of Lusitania, like Scoone and Marino said before, Lusitania was a territory that covered about 1/4 of the southwest of Iberian Peninsula, and was inhabited by the Lusitanos tribe who fought fiercely against Rome in the IIac, their territory today is divided between Portugal and Spain, although Portugal usually define themselves to their ancestor as the "lusitanos", what is curious because Portus-Calem gave this name to that country and Calem comes from Callaecia, a different tribe living far north over the lusitanians. Anyway, lusitanians descendants are spaniards and portugueses of today, we don´t quarrel about that. Viriato was the main leader of lusitanos and never was defeated in the battlefield, he caused terrific loses to romans, at last he was assasinated by some of his fellows close to him corrupted by romans and when this murders asked to roman general for their money, he said the famous saying: "Rome do not pay traitors".
And Vance, may I answer why do you have a portugues flag in your avatar? Any lusitan ancestor?

Has nothing to do with fuel. It's the so called carmouflage-cross for night-time convoy travel.

He and his team are a big coward squad. rofl rofl rofl
he did what he promised he'd do ... if anything I find it refreshing to see politicians keep their word.
if you want to blaim (f***) anyone then blaim the Spanish voters who knew he'd pull the troops back (among other stupid stuff) if he'd got elected.
No matter were I stand on the deployment I would never have voted for anyone who disrespects his own troops like he did (saying what the troops were doing was wrong and that he'd put a stop to it must have been real heartwarming for the troops deployed in Iraq at the time)

maybe but that would be even more tragic, then terrorists would have affected your foreign policy by blowing up hundreds of people.
I don't buy that, the attacks may have contributed to it but I don't think he got elected because of it ... maybe Jose Aznar should've done a better job during the electorial campaign?
I don't know enough about the topic to make that statement though, maybe somebody else from Spain can answer?

Possibly have reason. But the Spanish people was very sensitive after 14M the elections were 16M. Of all forms ZP irrational politics demonstrates many things.
