Can anyone identify this piece of equipment?

This image was taken on board HMS York a Type 42 Destroyer. The image is of a MK 44 gun, not sure which one. I know its the latest piece of equipment, as she just had a refit of the weapon systems.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like uber-binoculars... or some sort of very expensive Viewfinder toy ;)

Thanks for the reply.

I wanted to know what type of gun system the optical sight was part of.

It must be for those 30mm guns but I forget the name. Maybe Rarden or something...... Sorry :-(

Might it be for the Bofors or the Oerlikons?
