After a SEAL is selected into SEAL Team Six (Dev Group) does anyone know, believe or think operators receive further training. Already highly skilled in weapons, comms and other skills would you think they would recieve any further training after getting into Dev Group?

I'm sure this was answered already IIRC he does indeed go through a further Selection Course.
I think it's the same for CAG,it involves further selection.

What do you think? SEALs' training is never over. They are constantly training, trying new techniques/gear/approaches...etc. ST-6 questions are so lame.

Read Chuck Pfarrer's new autobiography....he was a SEAL in Team Four and then was transferred to SEAL Team Six. He talks about spending a year in the "green" platoon for training. They were not allowed to associate with the active operators until their training was finished. It's a pretty good read....

He guys, every soldier in the Army/sailor in the Navy keeps training and learning new skills, not just your favorite ninja turtles.

Nope, once your selected to DEVGRU you know it all (like being a teenager all over) all of your time is dedicated to growing your hair out and killing bad guys, just like SFOD-D!

I reading it now. I happened to be at the Annapolis Barnes & Nobles when he was doing a signing for it. So I picked one up, met him (cool guy) and got it autographed.

What Duck said. The training is constant. FOR EVERYONE IN THE ARMED FORCES. What planet do you think this is.
