I wanted to know how everyone else made out in their 'friendly wagers'.
I did a prop bet, straight up. Picked the over on Tom Brady's completions versus the number of points Jameer Nelson would have against Temple on Saturday. Nelson went for 21, Brady completed 32. I came out $500 on top. I'm goin' Sizzler.

Pats and Panthers both have really smart coaches who know what they're doing.
Both teams have very good defenses.
The Pats don't exactly run the ball well while the Panthers run the run quite well [even with Stephen Davis out].
The Pats have a great set of receivers in Brown, Givens, Johnson, and Branch. The Panthers have a pair of excellent wide outs...the up and coming Steve Smith and the vet Mushin Muhammed (spelling).
That said, it is going to be interesting to see how the offenses will react to the smashmouth defenses of both sides. Ty Law is by far, the best CB in the NFL. The Panthers DL is by far, the best rounded DL in the NFL.
I don't care who wins, I just want to see some Super Bowl-caliber football. Prediction anyways...20-17 Patriots...
My key factors...
+Will Stephen Davis play?
+Can Delhomme (spelling) lead his team against the Pats D?
+Can the small Steve Smith get open against Ty Law?
I came close. ;)
Edit: Came down to a FG.
