If you have Microsoft MovieMaker, you can take screen shots from video. I've used it before for that purpose and it does a good job. Just my $0.02.

Man the rest of the video is bad ass! Interviews with SOG members, Mike Force, Green Berets, there is also a part of Delta Project simply amazing. Also they talk about Phoenix Project and CIA paramilitary operations in Laos, Cambodia and North Vietnam as well in South. The video it self is over 450mb, little bit too big.

It looks like some sort of a line shooting device. Their is a blunt flat nosed object that shoots out of the nozzle and atached to it is a cable.

^Thats my guess anyway, because the Navy used to use something similar to that when my dad was in, accept it was in rifle form.

If I'm not mistaken this is a (heavily modified) S&W Model 39 with a suppressor. In official Navy-speak it was known as "pistol Mark 22 mod 0" with "9mm pistol noise suppressor mark 3 mod", also known as the infamous "Hush Puppy".
