My brother emailed me all these pictures over the years as we are both interested in all military operations. He is currently serving in Iraq so when I get an opportunity I will ask him if he can pass on where he got most of these pictures from.

That's odd... Your reason for posting this, that is... The same dukhs captured in these photographs are likely fighting on the side of insurgency in Iraq. Obviously, you are taking side with these bearded thugs. Illegal armed bands have little to do with Military - other then it's the Military's duty to destroy them. Many of my countrymen gave their lives to combat these criminals - I don't take very kindly to your posts.

Really? Which people in Iraq? Does J&&king off over reinactors pics of SEAL T6 count as fighting these days?
This sort of thing keeps me coming back time and time again to MP.net. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe I'll just go for a dump and forget all about it.

Exactly, a couple of years ago i was really moved by all the chechen pictures. Nowdays i know that yelling "****ing chechen apes" at my monitor won't change much in the fate of the soldier that is laying dead now.
I think those pictures pictures are useful, these are the only depictions of the enemy and of his methods we can get without going to Chechnya, any information is useful when you're trying to learn about your enemy.
And those pictures are from various internet sites, not a private collection or some classified data.
Anyways its all from the 1st campaign 1994-1996, its very possible that most of the "brave chechen wolves" are now laying 6 feet under.

I was meaning Chechens. The US has fought/captured some who have been apart of the foreign fighters in Iraq.
the poltical guide line is : no bad stuff of any kind about US military.Unless its US goverment approved. Posting pictures of insurgents means that you're helping teh terrorists!!!1

As for the una-unso in Chechnya i don't know much. No clue about the rifle either. They do like to write stories like the idiots from kavkaz site about how they destroyed a column, shot down 4 helicopters, sunk 2 submarines and saved a puppy.

For the picture of chechen policemen, one caption comes to mind: Gettin' paid, gettin' paid.
Seriously one of the reasons why the fighiting is going on is the lack of jobs.
And i guess in the last 10 years in Chechnya it was complicated to get any other qualification than, shooting rpgs and screaming allhu akbar.

You wouldn't have said that to me in person so why type it up on the message board? Saying it to me in person would get you very fast onto the Darwin's list all right - but you are a joke, so I'm having a laugh.
As for your quiestion - the situation and the Federal Government offered them a pardon and they took that opportunity. Their crimes maybe unspeakable - you nor I know the details, however, they are no longer standing in the way of preventing a peaceful process in Chechnya. Little different from the people shooting up convoys and taking schools/hospitals as hostages. WHile it's a crime when you have done something harmful against the society - it's a bigger crime to go on commiting more harm.
Finally, I'm not an immigrant - I'm a colonist. Get it straight, you rotten fish eating popsicle head

Personally I donīt think that posting pictures of the other side means that you have any sympathy for their cause. According to you that is the case, so you are right, I would consider you a retard and wouldnīt talk to you in the first place, being too afraid of you dragging me down to your level. And itīs sad to hear that violence is the only solution you can come up with, but I guess thatīs just Russian.

Soldiers fight when there is war - soldiers lead normal peaceful lives when there is peace. Terrorists, extremists, "freedom fighters", insurgents fight to unbalance peace and create lawless states where they can prosper.
You can huddle with green ribbon wearing killers all you want, but don't compare the Russian Soldiers fighting to return peace to the Hot Zone to the jihadist slime. If you saw pictures of Grozny in the 80's - you would realize whom the killers really are.
If you love Chechen Separatists so much - maybe you should house a couple of them in your neighborhood... We'd soon seize to see any posts from you because your head would be separated from your neck with a dull knife. I lived next to a Russian Army base for 13 years - and I'm just fine.

There is just one thing I think I will never understand, if you Russians are so patriotic, why do you leave your homeland for another country. I would never think of leaving my country, not for a second. Almost every Russian I come accross on message boards are very patriotic but most all of them live somewhere else. I just don't get it.
This is off topic. We're not any more patriotic than any other immigrants, look at the Mexicans or Asians who live in the North America, everyone is proud of their heritage. People for various reasons, if i'm going to make more money here than in Russia,it wont make me love Canada more. Love is not something you can buy. I know a lot of people from different countries who i went to school with, and everyone preserved their identity for instance when it comes to sports everyone is cheering for their national team.
You'll never get it , it's an immigrant thing ;)
Finally, how about i'll post some pictures of iraqui insurgents, and praise their efficency when it comes to IEDs and talk about how badly the US is stuck in Iraq. Would it be wrong for you to tell me to shut my trap? I think it would be the right thing to do. And thats what StukaJr did, and he has all the rights of doing so.

Russian settlers built their settlements as far as San Francisco during the colonization of the New World. The State I reside in used to be Mexico some 150 years ago. 150 years from now, it might be some Star Trek Federation Capital or some other scifi bull - we'll still be people.
The concept of the Homeland is not about never leaving your town or your street corner, or about living stagnant uninteresting existence because you don't want to explore something new. When an opportunity to work and live in another part of the globe arises - I take it. The concept of dessedent is that you can live in another place but maintain your individuality and culture - when I go back to Russia, I'm Russian. I made chosen parts of the American culture my own and would defend the ideals of the Founding Fathers and what I hold true. Fortunately, the two nations are no longer locked in a mortal conflict so I don't have to move any time soon :)
The Russian Soldiers and the Federal Forces of Chechnya are fighting to bring stability back to the region - everybody else in their are forms of illegal armed bands, fighting to disrupt that and bring back the chaos of 96-99... With that said, if it looks like you sympathize with the latter - don't be surprised if I get fumed.
Now, no more highjacking
