Thanks pal. When I go back in time to 1983 I'll get a perfect score in verbal. Oh wait, I already did. When it was hard.

Stupid Math scores keeping me out of Harvard.

Dont waste your time STUDYING for the SAT.
The best way to "study" is to take preactice tests which would improve your speed.
Thats how i went from 1250 on practice tests to 1330 (620 verbal, 710 math) on the real one.

I believe you do not even need to take the SAT in order to attend Harvard. One person could take classes, such as continue education for non-Harvard students -mostly for adults-, and could technically claim yourself have been through Harvard education. woot

Eh!.....Whats a SAT and why do you have to take them?

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)...I think

We all have to take it in order to apply for 99.9% of the universities in the U.S.

1420 on my SAT
Didn't need to take the ACT

Juniors and Senior years, I also took several AP exams. AP tests are a whole lot freaking more expansive than the SAT, but in the end, I strongly think that my list of AP credits made a stronger impression on my application for college than the SAT score. Plus, my score were good enough to get me like 80 credits for college for less than half the price it would normally take for 80 credits.

80 credits??? nice. is that a semester system?

I earned enough credits for a full year of school, but I'm still going to graduate after four years. It really all depends on when I take my MCAT. :|

Several AP classes? To get 80 credits that would require at least 20 AP courses.. a few years back the top national AP scholar clocked in with a 4+ rating on 21 APs.

My AP courses and tests were spread out between my Junior and Senior year in high school. It also depend on what school you go to.

For example: with my university, if you score a 5 on the Calculus AB exam, you get placement into Math 126 and you get credits for Math 124 and 125. Giving you 10 credits already.

Each AP exam is worth a 5 credits class with multiple credits given to such exam as Calculus...so 21 AP exams, that scholar would have gotten at least 105 credits going in our university, giving him a Junior standing.

Ah, strange units. I went in with only 7 AP's being the loser I am, and only got 26 units (I have close to 240 now). And APs meant jack and squat.. science units were just empty and meaningless and went and I had to take the courses over again. The only AP worth taking was English that let me advance/get out of. Everything else I had to take again in college.
