G36 mounted on ARV? Aren't there MGs used for that kind of use? Does anyone know if this practic is widly used?

Some Swedish (recently taken photos). Even though the Kfor mission in Kosovo has become more or less a policing mission were combat is unlikely the soldiers train for that, while in Kosovo.

The G36 is not mounted there, just placed for immediate use. As far as I know today only TOW-Weasels have a MG3 mounted like the one below:
