Paul Martins Military agenda

I was watching the news tonight and they played a bit on Paul Martins political agenda...his plans for the future of Canada, but the one thing that caught my attention was the additional 2 billion dollars that the Military will recieve(Im hoping annually) during his term. New equipment is going to be procured, more health care benefits and Hospital wait times will be reduced. Now, this alone is almost making me want to vote for him...he's right wing, but no too right wing eh.

Well, I just want to know what people have to say...if you know more about this please enlighten me.

Canada's doing the right thing here and as for them being invaded wangchung you might have forgotten that they are fully committed to the war on terror so need the extra resources.
