Communism would be great; if it were chosen by all the people that are affected by it, if politicians were not greedy liars, if people were not to try and get rich at any cost.

That is never going to happen, and so; communism will never be a good idea.

Now that is just my opinion. And the U.S.S.R had an undeniable history of cover-ups, actions that were against the most basic human rights and a notion to make people 'disappear' or call them crazy and lock them away.

So I have no idea how on earth you like communism, maybe you just never felt like 'traveling freely' back then, or having the right for information that is not controlled and censored by the state. Maybe you were one of them happy apathetic ignorant people who just didn't care.
