Hey howdy hey!

I have a question for anyone who lives in Israel or is familiar with the environment there. What is being said or taught about the temple mount and a return to the Levitical sacrificial system? Are animal sacrifices being observed anywere in Israel? Is there the desire to rebuild a temple or tabernacle on the biblical site of King Herods Temple?

Thank you for your imput.
Blessings of the Messiah!

Hey howdy hey!

I almost didnt post the above question but I decided that it is very relevant to military matters. In particular, what is placed, or allowed to remain on that "mount" will in all likelyhood be decided militarily...or will the UN just pass a resolution etc etc

BUT, if this is in the wrong category, please feel free to relocate my query.

Thank you.

Isn't this sort of a question that Jesus in South Park would have answered that he wouldn't touched it with a 30 ft. pole???

Hey howdy hey!

Much to my dismay, there are no Jews in Auburn Ky. I would really love to know an answer to my question if anyone has one. A PM or email would be great if this forum seems to "volatile", or are there any "jewish" websites that deal with the "spiritual" mood in Israel?

Honest questions...

Simply put, the answer is "no." There are, indeed, a very small number of ultra-religious extremists who would like to build actually knock down al-aqsa and build a temple there. However, they are a minority of a minortiy of a minority, really a tiny tiny group. Even among ulta-religious Jews, the conventional belief is that the messiah will rebuild the temple - and that, until then, it is not ours to meddle with. In fact, most rabbinical authorities won't even allow Jews to enter the temple mount, for fear of accidently treading improperly on sacred ground. [There is a slightly more mainstream thing among the ultra-religious, where they will study the rites of the temple so to be able to perform them should it ever be rebuilt. However, this is not at all the same as them actually planning to build it.]

Any Israelis care to correct me?
