If you have been watching his show, what do you think about his input for Tarja Halonen? She is the president of Finland and she is also running for another 6 years... I'm just curious... What do you think of it and what kind of image has this given about Finland?

Laid back fools yes. But not after drinking Vodka ( or "Pöytäviina" like me right now... ).

I think that just doesn´t fit with O´Brien´s sarcastic style, that they´re posting Official Tarja Halonen for President- adverts between the Late night with Con...-shows. ( In Finland of course only! )

I think that many people in Finland now think, that Conan stands behind everything that " Halonen " represents..

Would be great for someone to help Conan make a "mouth-set-up" with Halonen, I like the ones that been made with G.W.Bush and the "Governator".

I just want to say that, If you don´t know the basics that the politician stands for, do not make the extra effort for her re-election. The poor people in North, already standing against the Polar-Bears, will suffer.

The Finnish press is pathetic, it's like they spontaneously ejaculate in their pants every time Finland gets mentioned anywhere. It's really quite embarrassing.

Conan is quite funny nevertheless.
"Under Tarja Halonen the fisheries are producing more carp than usual." Hell no! Vote for Niinistö, he'll make the fisheries triple their carp production! :D

That's nice, but Finland isn't a Scandinavian country. It's Nordic.

And the girls are pretty, but they can be a real pain in the a$$ sometimes.

There is actually! In the somertimes many Scandinavian girls get tanned and what is great, also the hair of the "brunnettes" get nicely tanned.. Also they´re been going in the gym, body-pumping etc. before summer.. So they look nice, as do all the people, I guess, when they´ve had an healthy portion of sunshine. Just look the gddmn IDF- girls...

Conan is just doing this for a laugh, nothing more. If you pay attention closely, Conan often picks countries that, on an average day, Americans don't give a f*ck about, nor do they know anything about. He's subtly mocking our ignorance of that country. Hence, putting their political platforms on the same level as ours.
