The AK 107 fires 5.45x39 while the Ak 108 fires 5.56 Nato.

Its supposed to be a really nice weapon with alot less recoil and much greater accuracy in automatic fire.

A unique recoil reduction system comprised of two opposing gas pistons. When the gas from the expended round passes through the gas tube, some of it drives a piston backward, cycling the bolt and functioning the rifle, while the rest of the gas drives another piston forward to counter the recoil. I hear it works pretty good.

I think I gonna buy a AK 100 serie for my next birthday, but I'm not sure between the 102 & the 105 (the 5.45 Combloc is pretty rare and expensive!!!)

I would go with the 102 just for that reason. 5.56 nato is just so much more cheaper to shoot.
