Filling another generation full of hate....... completely sickening. All this is doing is ensuring Iran has no real future. Makes me more sad then angry.

When people, make hateful comments, such as the ones, examplified in this post, or in others. it does not help the situation, nor does it solve it. In fact, comments like that, prove nothing more, than the fact that we are not better than them, and want democracy to prevail.
Carpet bombing a state into the ground, proves nothing, it does not entice a state, to become democratic, nor does it entice the populace to support democracy. It only worked in certain cases, because those states, had attempted at capturing territory, and most, had a long history of democratic values within them. Wishing, death upon millions of Iranians, does not improve the situation, it does nothing, but lower to their standards. As they say, you lower yourself to their standards, and they'll beat you, with experience.
Thus, wishing cruel fate, is nothing but the same thing that these brainwashed children and people will do. Democracy, may one day, come knocking on Iran, but it does not mean that they will accept it. The tyrannical state of Iran, was formed out of the chaos, when chaos exists, it is the ripe time for tyranny.

Jeeesus...I´m terribly sorry if I hurt your feelings with my thoughtless, immature and hateful comment. Of course I don´t really wish for a nuclear attack on Iran or anything else of that sort. It was a spur of the moment thing, brought on by frustration.
It´s just sad that when you hope and believe Iran is finally moving towards a more open and secular society they elect this conservative, islamic fundamentalist and ex-terrorist. Having 20 million people chanting "death to america" is at least in my eyes a declaration of war. This can sometimes evoke primitive feelings in otherwise calm and reasonable persons such as myself.

70% of Iran's population is under 30. That means most were not even concieved in 1979.
I believe their being forced to have protests like this, or they face certain death. I don't think Iran's population really wants an apocalyptic-style showdown with the West. They probably want to be free just like everyone else, but the Islamic fascists won't allow that.
What's with all the anti-Iranian propaganda in the last 2 weeks?
I believe their being forced to have protests like this, or they face certain death.
Rubbish! You can't threaten 20 million kids or their parents with death, these people are indoctrinated. We're all "brainwashed" in one way or another, the question is are they more so or are they just at the other extreme.

I'm not too worried about elementary and high school kids chanting 'death to America.' Their present generation of college students were doing the same thing too when they were kids, only now they are old enough to think for themselves. Having kids chanting that in Iran is no different than the American government pushing for US schools to socialize young kids in saying the 'pledge of Allegiance.' I remember my classmates in fifth grade loving this country and now wanting nothing to do with it.
Iranian children in a bloodlust while also going through puberty? Notify Strategic Command, it looks like we're going to war.

The past couple of days I have been irritated a lot by the fact that Iran is provocing the west in such a way sanctions must follow.
Iran must be thinking:
"the US has its hand full in Iraq, Afganistan and New Orleans, and the NATO won't to ****, let's take our change."
well yentlemen, me and my rifle will be waiting for you :backhand:
now im not saying we should attack Iran or anything, but people like these are a danger for world savety. Military action should be considered as an option though.

It truly is amazing how the Iranian government can predict in advance how many people will show up at a spontaneous event. In America, we have trouble counting people in demonstrations that have already occurred. Obviously we have much to learn from their impressive democracy.

Ignorance on a massive scale thanks to the government.
I just hope that some people on here understand that not all Iranians are bad. Have met plenty and the good majority were nice people. Many left their country because they did not agree with the government.

Threats from other countries usually unify people together and make them more patriotic, as seen in history.
It would be strange if Iran would be diffrent on this.

Those who read at least their own national newspapers should know that a good portion of the Iranian population is against the current radical goverment and surprisingly, pro-America. Many dream of living in the US.
We, as (mature) human beings have to try and look beyond and distinguish between the government of a nation (and its statements) and its actual people.
I am trying to make this quantum leap. Reading a lot these past days is helping me quite much.
Still, Iran daily statements are disturbing, and they don't seem to cease.

What the ƒuck ever. Finland is NOT a rational comparison to Iran. Nor is Israel.
Latest news (http://www.corriere.it/Primo_Piano/Esteri/2005/11_Novembre/02/ambasciatore.shtml) have it that the Italian embassador in Teheran was just officially "invited" to clarify the Italian position regarding Rome's next 3rd of november demonstration in front of the roman Iranian embassy as an official protest towards Iran's latest statements against Israel (Iran forgets that we have a large Israeli community here in Rome. I live 50 metres away from the Israeli embassy in Rome, by the way).
As a sort of retaliation, Teheran announced a demonstration of "students" in front of the Italian embassy in Iran. :bash:
Clearly, Iran was disappointed that the Italian community condemned their verbal aggression towards Israel.

That would be the president of Iran, and under it's Islamic Republic state...

Interesting news, anyways. Funny how some are finding this shocking. I think you would typically figure out by now we (US) aren't exactly very well at having good relations with certain Middle-eastern countries...

Lie or ignorance?
Iran was threatened on daily basis in connection with his atom program by USA and Israel...
As to the Iran rhetoric - its only propaganda. Nobody want to have full scale war.

It's a differance between threaten Iran with political and economical sanctions and perhaps even the hint of using other means to stop their ambitions to go nuclear than threaten to annihalate a country and its citizens...I think we all can agree on that...
...rhetorics, perhaps, but still...
