Sir James,
Where can this complete video be obtained, or can you gimmie the title of the documentary?
I had read about the action depicted in the video in Downrange by **** Couch.A bunch of RM's were attached to Navy SEALs taking the Oil platforms down. That was one of my fav parts of the book,i think GROM was involved in that Op as well.

The thing with realplayer is that once you install it you'll be wanting to go into the options/preferences and turn all the automatic bs off ... then you're simply left with a mediaplayer that only does stuff when you tell it too.
any torrents available for that BBC? sounds very interesting. i searched for BBC and nothing came up *shrug*

It would be interesting to find out why GROM would be used, it's not like it can offer anything unique at the table. SEALS and the Royals would seem to cope no probs.

Are you an expert in Spec. Ops. to judge whitch unit is unique, and whitch is not.
Damn, think before you write..........

Are you? It's pretty obvious the Special forces of the US could handle the job easily with the Royals, why would they use some foreign unit.

Again, are You an expert ?
Cuz' I'm not. And if I'm not an expert I don't ask stupid questions such as this.
Why did GROM and SEALs secure the dam outside Baghdad ?
Why the elite SEALs went in there with Polish SF ?
Answer one of these questions and I'll call You an expert !
P.S: Don't get me wrong, I have the HIGHEST respect for the SEALs ;)

Joint task force is just that.
It's good to combine forces that are high speed so they can both learn something from each other.
The GROM as are hard as woodpecker lips. I have heard nothing but good things about them. The teams look forward to working with them again, good people.
The term, "the best" does not apply to the spec ops world. There is no such thing as all units have something to offer the other. The minute you think you are working with a bunch of monkeys, they will turn around and kick your ass when they are in their own element. Never underestimate the benifits of a proffessional working relationship.
Which is why I find it so funnny when some of you get into the whole, "who is the best ____" thing.

It's just the facts. I didn't even know about the GROM untill OEF and OIF kicked off, then it was all I heard about.
Those guys really made a great impression on us.
Props were props is due.

It mean to give recognition were it is duely earned.
The GROM has earned the reputation and thanks of it's spec ops compatriots.

Personally no.
But many of my friends have recently, people I trust with my life.
If they say that GROM is GTG, then I believe them.
