It's hard to beat a really good filet or prime rib when it's done right.
I've never tasted haggis, but it looks like it should be called gaggis to me. :( Maybe I'd like it if I didn't know what I was eating, but I don't think I could give it a fair shot if I knew ahead of time.

Lots of carolies, made from smashed potatos(mix of raw and peeled cooked in water) mixed with lots of fried bacon&sausage&onion spiced mainly with marjoram and baked in owen...
It's very good cold or heated, and tastes best next day from making...
It's simple to make, but takes much time, and you need to peel lots of potatos... if you want I can give you recipe :)

base layer of fresh oven baked tortilla chips, swiss and cheddar cheese, layer of refried beans, a layer of shredded juicy dripping pot roast beef, with dollaps of guacomole and sour cream on top finally topped off with 2 huge criss crossing pieces of bacon.

Always local food, there is a reason why it's become local. Fish and seafood on the coast, otherwise meat or the occasional vegetarian dish. A good steak or burger with fries if in no mood for surprises.

Really? I lived in Vietnam for a year since my mom is Vietnamese and my dad is caucasian American. Trust me, I can write and read Vietnamese better than most native Vietnamese in the USA eventhough I'm American by birth. Yeah, I don't know anything about communist country in Asia.

‘Scot’ is colloquial and informal, and not a proper definition of a Scottish person, thus it does not need to be uppercased.

I disagree there, as using scot instead of Scot/Scot' could lead to confusion between the two different meanings of the two different words. :)

Actually, Ducimus, you are incorrect. When referring to a country or the people of a country, one capitalizes the name. It makes no difference whether that name has been abbreviated. The exception to this rule is when the the name of a country has become part of the name of a common object. By attaching itself to a common object, the country name takes on a new meaning. The name no longer makes the reader think of the country. Instead, the reader simply thinks of an everyday object. In situations such as this, the country name loses its capital letter. For example:
The people of France speak French, but they eat french fries.
English 101 ;)

You need accent marks to make your words more clear
For instance:

:cantbeli: i got the saying from a book, and i doesnt got accent marks in it
Let me guess, a Richard Marcinko "Rogue Warrior" book.
And my favourite food is "död mans finger", not.
My real favourite food is anything that looks edible, "död mans finger" doesn't.
yeh i got it from his book :)
His books are da ****, except the last one violence of action. It didn't hold the same high standard that we've gotten used to in his previous books.

My favourite part from Rogue Warrior. Sensitive readers are advised not to read, contains strong material.
As the camera follows me closer to the water, you can hear Barrett's voice unmistakably clear on the sound track: "You asshole. You f***ing asshole. You f***ing dip**** asshole. Pull the f***ing goddamn cord. Marcinko, you motherf***ing cocksucking ****breath ****-eating turd-faced dip**** pencil-****ed pus-nuts ****-for-brains asshole geek, pull the f***ing cord!"
I didn't know you couldn't write **** in here

I've never had anchovies, so I don't know about them, but I'm not of a mind to try them. Otherwise... I'm like you.... everything is good. Fresh mushrooms are the best... so much more flavor than canned. Green peppers... onions.... all kinda dead animal flesh..... p-)
