AS 565 UB PANTHER: The AS 565 UB PANTHER is the military version of the DAUPHIN and features the same technological innovations. It is powered by two Turboméca ARRIEL 1M1 engines with power ratings suited for military applications, and a "super contingency" rating in particular.Its main missions are: transport of 8 to 10 commandos to the combat zones, casualty evacuation, and logistic support.

AS 565 AB PANTHER: The AS 565 AB is the armed version of the PANTHER.It can be equipped with 20 mm pod-mounted guns, rocket launchers and machine guns, with an associated clear sight. It can also be fitted with a 20 mm side-firing cannon.

Has any of you guys seen that movie with Nicole Kidman and George Clooney, "The Peacemaker"?

There's a scene were Clooney liftoff from a base in Turkey with a USAF special forces team in a couple of panther helicopters, into Russian airspace in persuit of a truck with a stolen nuke, headed for Iran.

This aircraft is only used in the US by the Coast guard isn't it? The USAF doesn't have it in is inventory. I know you are going to say that that's only a Hollywood movie but anyone has any coments on that?
