on this picture http://www4.aixgaming.com/opend/Allied_Germany/a_ksk02 is that an EOTech sight on the top of that (nicely painted) G36K? If so, is this a jurry-rigged or is this somewhat standard? Anyone know of any other sights that the KSK might be using?

I dont know what you mean by jury rigging. Ill admit I know nothing of this weapons system, but nobody goes out into the field without proven equipment. I'm sure all accessories are proven.

No, I mean Jurry-rigged in the way it is attached to the weapon in place of the standard aimpoint-type. The Marines in the Gulf Zip-tied their lasers to the M16s because only the Army gets pampered with new RAS systems :)

of course the c-mag is KSK-standard. even regular infantry-companies (jäger) are being issued the beta c-mag

KSK got all the nice stuff we don't even think of...

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but can someone ID the rear flip-up sight on the g36k in the foreground? http://mitglied.lycos.de/miscstuff/KSK_pics/KSK_Humvee_closeup.jpg I'm pretty sure the front sight is KAC.

Many thanks,
