Both of which are actually photos taken when 4RAR(Commando) took delivery of them from memory. These shots appeared in the Army Newspaper some time back.

Note the AusCam "mag bag" that the Australian defence Force issues in 100 and 200 round link bags as opposed to the standard green plastic box which is very crappy..?

I'd also like to point out that the British Paras and several other UK units has bought/aquired some of the Aussie bags for their Minimis due to the quality of it over the plastic box and several other versions.

The lower varient is the one now billed for wider SOC issue but retaining the bipod and slightly longer heat shield.

I've seen some with the Elcan fitted when they were tested... now when and if these photos turn up here all those Diemaco lovers will claim that SASR and 4RAR(Cdo) use the new Diemaco F-89A1(para)! :D

The only downside is that it will be a bastard to change the barrel on that lower one, unless there is something I'm not seeing.

they'd favour the ammo bag also because it would be allot quieter than the rounds slapping around in the plastic boxes during ops and when they're empty you can crush the soft one up and stuff it back in your minimi pouch on your kit.
