Platoon commander held a poll to find out how many TA soldiers are planning to stay in answer nil in the infantry. 100% completely hacked off
either leaving completely or joining a corp so if they get called up may get a more interesting job. OC making friends by using the armoured landrover to go to HQ while lads are sent out to investigate suspected ID in unamoured wagon needless to say suspected IED was investigated with BINOS :). ALso sent the QRF to find wild Boar for hunting :roll: apprantly finished shooting all the dogs.
Iraqi's take the odd shot at the camp guess from at least a 1km away as rounds always fall between 200 to 400metres short. fire not returned as not effective fire one newbie wanted to return fire but having a discussion about if it counts as effective enemy fire. New rule of combat IF your having a discussion about incoming enemy fire its not effective :lol:
My brother brought himself a Coldsteel SRK and is now wondering why the hell did I buy it?

fun if you like reading books and playing gameboy otherwise don't bother :(

Are they getting hacked off because they have been treated badly by the Army or because of what they are doing is very boring or a mixture of both?

Deeply tedious duty mostly
plus the normal problem of being a subunit attached to a bigger unit so you get all the **** jobs. Plus if my brother hears "it was'nt like this in afganistan " somebodys going to get hurt :roll:
