Hello everyone,
I have looked at the photos here about GROM and have searched the forums for information, but my results have yielded very little. The many threads previously made about the GROM either do not have the info i am looking for or the pictures are no longer there.
I am interested in putting together a collection of GROM gear and equipment. I have a lot of respect for foreign militaries and their special operations teams. I am of polish decent and interested in what they use.
For their gear I know they use the M4 with various attachments and the polish camo (i dunno if GROM uses a special varient of that or not), but besides that thats all I know. I would very much appreciate any help or be put in any directions to finding and getting this gear.
Thanks for your help,
- Tiger

Boots (for example): hi tech magnum, adidas gsg9, kupczak's COMBAT, jungle boots
weapons (for example): mp5 familly, m4 ris, hk usp, glock, minimi, pk, carl gustav, hecate , remington m700
backpacks (for example): bergen, polish ,,zasobnik piechoty gorskiej", alice, polish ,,grot 20"
googles (for example): bolle commando, x800

Thank you so much Apogeumus :)
That site and your info helps alot in my search. I do have another question though. What types of body armor do they use? Also is their main sidearm the 226?
Thanks again

Currently they use lightweight ripstop goretex two piece-suits, plain olive. Boots vary - there were many trekking shoes as Meindl's, LaFuma's etc. KAC M4's and M249 para both with EOTech dominate. As for sidearm - HK USP. Some new weapons were now purchased, sooner or later you'll see them.
As for webbing - now there are more and more custom designs in use, ordered locally in small batches - for example RACK-template based (plus small back panel for back plate), fully PALS covered platecarries with QR system. They are made of ten mesh.

The rebreathers they use are the Oxy-NG2, pure O2 rigs. They are the only group I have seen photos of using that rig but I'm sure other units use them.

KAC M4's and M249 para both with EOTech dominate. Busmaster, not KAC.

Busmaster, not KAC.
Bushamster was purchased recently, so many previously acquired KACs are still in use.

Can somebody update that LIST? Do they use NOW also the Helmet MICH 2000 (and MICH 2001).
I see, read and heard that they also use a version of Multicam. Right?
