US Army Special Forces Command (USASFC)

I'm pretty sure that it's 10th Group, and he happens to be a Brigadier general

Wrong....1. the 10 Group flash doesn't have the silver border. 2. You won't find a general in an SF Grp....they are commanded by colonels.

Each SFG is designated by specific beret flashes and background trimmings.

1st SFG, 3rd SFG, 5th SFG, 7th SFG, 10th SFG are AD. 19th and 20th are NG SFG's. Don't mind the others if that is what you are looking for.

As I stated earlier...the flash in question is that of the USASFC.

The officer in the is a brigadier general (one star)....generals don't wear branch insignia because they are "General Officers".
