14 days after celebrating his 2nd Birthday, my little cousin Owen Weaver, died in his sleep. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the sickness, but since he was born he had little to no motor skills, couldn't talk or walk and his life expectancy was said to be short. They say this sickness is supposedly common in Jewish communities.

I feel bad for my cousin Kris and his wife Crystal. It was expected but can't ever be ready for the death of a kid I imagine.

Damn, that's gotta be incredibly hard on the parents. I hope your entire family gets over this tragedy smoothly.

As a relatively new parent I can't possibly imagine anything worse than losing a child or very young close relative

My sincere condolences. As a parent, I don't think any pain would compare.

Thank you all. I do appreciate it. Haven't seen Kris or his wife yet. They want to be by themselves right now and I understand that. Hope in time they know there's a whole family plus friends to support them and help them as best as we can. Just wish I could take the pain away.

Thank you again!

Just got back from the funeral. Glad to see Kris and Chrystal staying as strong as they are.

Owen's in a better place now :)
