Every US Army photo i've seen has weapons that look like all your little airsoft projects. Anything that can be possibly attached/mounted/zip-tied/camoed is and I would imagine it would be dangerous to depend on all those components.

It is - But it all comes down to their training and how they can adapt when their batterys die.
I'm sure they will fare better then anyone who ever reads this.

It looks like several of those men are carrying the new SCAR. It looks like an amazing weapon, hope they put it to good use.

I don't see a SCAR. The first two in the stack have 203's on what look like one piece uppers, but then again, I ignore the hype about new weapons until they're in hand.
If you look at the large version, everyone but the three guys in front, and the black dude in ACU (3rd from rear), they look pretty ate up. One guy's vest is almost totally released, three or four of them have their helmets on jacked up, and the two in Tshirts are laughing their asses off. Also, note the dude in the middle in the nomex with a notoros mount on his helmet.
I think this might be a bunch of guys from different teams/units ****ing around and taking pics for militaryphotos.net.

Has it ever occured to you that things might be the other way around? Perhaps airsoft kids copy real equipment and not vise versa?
Just when I think I've heard it all...

Yeah, all I see are M4's with alot of stuff on them. It looks like they're all just goofing around making a team pic, since a few of them are smiling.

Cause everyone in the military is serious at all times, and we know SF doesnt cut up like the rest of us...at.. all.... please....
I have 2 friends in group, they are the most non seirous, non tight ass, cutting up jokers i know.... When its time to work, they work, but they cut up just as much at training as the rest of the military...
watch out, his vest isnt buckled! he is no good! not true warrior would have his vest un clipped...

Dear Asshat,
Do you know who you're talking to? I'm not some cherry Guard E2 PAC clerk. There is a huge difference between having your goddamn body armor falling off and having your **** unbuckled. I HAVE been there (here) and done that, so preach elsewhere.
Mikebox: They look like ANA. I could see them wearing some old skool's to the field...
Other duder: They look like ANA.
Edited for clarification.

Most of the SF/SEALs I saw in Iraq wore civilian hiking shoes with their DCUs, and this was just in garrison.
As for the tiger stripe, when I first saw this Goldman-posted photo I thought it was a mistake. (Check the patch on his arm)

No, he probably doesn't know he's talking to. So, who are you that works in "research and development"?

I think the three dudes to the left of this pic are ANA. The lead man is the same cat as in the pic posted above. Note that the uniforms don't fit quite as well as they should, the sneakers, and the lack of equipment.Oh, and they're all darker complected, which is pretty insignifigant, but it could be a clue...

It is done for a variety of reasons, the upper most being that of the preference of the shooter I would hope.

Its sort of application of J.Cooper's "Scout" idea with that HWS's. Gotta try it.

why do you kids think they are ANA?
They are Kurdish peshmergas
You kids are really wasting my time, I really don't know why I am telling you that. You do not deserve that info. Why don't you just shut the f uck up if you know s hit?
never meet guys being so fu cked in the head.
a shame...

Are they your pics? Nope.
Are you SF? I'm thinking nope, based on your very first post here:
Has anyone pictures from special forces wearing backpacks like the spear backpack UM21 from gregory? If yes could you please post it here.
Thank you
The rest of your posts are mainly belittling others, with no background as to your own credentials to verify that you're not some 11 year old poser making **** up.
The only place I've seen US soldiers use desert tigers was Afghan, and it was one of the Guard SF units. My conclusion that they were ANA is logical, in that context, but going back through the rest of the photos, I agree that some of them could be Northern Iraq.

The (American) guys in the pics are all from 3rd SFG and we see various RTs (RT Kestral, RT Nightjar, RT Raptor).
The problem is that they shouln't have been posted here since they were "stolen" from a forum where the original poster asked that they should not be posted elsewhere. But some people don't seem to care...

I don't think they are ANA, most of the ANA are wearing the woodland BDU pattern uniforms over here.

no i don't know who you are, but the kind of person who says something like that, and even more so, on the internet, trying to bolster himself, usually inst anything, cause the kind of person who is something, doesnt need to tell anyone he is.... i don't really care who you are honestly....
but fine, if you wanna be a know it all, go right ahead, i never said anyone is right or wrong, just when some pics apart a picture posted online making stupid comments about a vest being unbuckled or other amrchair tactican bull****..... makes me wonder....

((Beating a dead horse with a stick))
Those aren't 203's... Those are actually SureFire Tac Light/Vertical Foregrips.
