You may be mistakenly reffering to the bombing
That happened in August 2005
- lets hope so

Two were killed and at least four were injured in Thursday's explosion in Pendik, eastern Istanbul suburb, Turkey. Some media reported that the blast occured in a trash bin, while others say that it occured in a moving vehicle.
A 21 year old woman and her mother died in the blast. It is still unknown who is responsible.
This was the last of a series of explosions in Turkey, and trash bins have already been used for bombing. A similar explosion happened in Antalya on Tuesday, when two smaller explosions wounded nine people.
Other tourist resorts have been targeted as well. In July, mini-bus bombing killed five in Kusadasi, and twenty were injured when a bomb in a dustbin exploded in Cesme

The Turkish news that I've seen reports 1 dead, 6 wounded - and they don't know who's responsible. Haven't seen it reported in English yet.
Beylikdüzü'nde patlama:1 ölü
İstanbul Beylikdüzü'ndeki bir üst geçidin yakınında patlama oldu. Yaralanan 6 kişiden biri yaşamını kaybetti.
Tatilya Eğlence Merkezi'nin önündeki üst geçidin yakınında meydana geldiği belirtilen patlamada ilk belirlemelere göre 5 kişi yaralandı. Yaralıların yakındaki bir özel hastaneye kaldırılarak tedaviye alındığı belirtildi.
Patlamanın bir çöp kutusuna konulan bomba nedeniyle meydana gelmiş olabileceği iddia ediliyor. Olayla ilgili araştırma sürüyor.

Well, this explosion is related to PKK terrorist organization. Some countries back these organizations in Europe.
Washington takes initiative on issue of pro-PKK TV in Denmark
The United States has been making efforts to properly inform the Danish administration on a Copenhagen-based television station that Turkey says is spreading propaganda for the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Turkish diplomatic sources said.
Turkey has pressed Denmark to take action against Roj TV, considered a mouthpiece of the PKK, after Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan boycotted a scheduled press conference with the Danish prime minister earlier this week in protest of the presence of reporters from the television station.
Roj TV has been a source of tension between Turkey and Denmark for the last two years. Denmark has only recently launched an investigation into whether Roj TV has links with the PKK, which is classified as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States and refuses to take action until the investigation is complete.
The action we expect Denmark to take is part of the international cooperative effort in the struggle against terrorism, Foreign Ministry spokesman Namık Tan said at a press conference. We expect Denmark to clarify its position on the issue and to take the necessary action.
U.S. officials last week handed over a comprehensive file on Roj TV to the Danish government, urging Copenhagen to take the necessary steps as part of the international struggle against terror, sources told the Turkish Daily News. The file contained information on what type of content could be considered illegal according to Danish law and what content is protected under the right to freedom of expression.
The Danish Radio and Television Board ruled earlier this year that the station's programming could not be considered inflammatory but said it had asked police to look into alleged ties between Roj TV and the PKK.
Turkey had previously succeeded in ensuring the closure of two other European-based Kurdish television stations. MED-TV had its license revoked in Britain, while France refused to grant a license to its successor, MEDYA-TV.

And you rushed into reaching that conclusion...who says with such a great certainy that its the Kurdish Worker's Party behind the attack? Any independent sources verifying that?
Maybe a Turkish Islamist organization is behing all this...we have yet to find out.

Most likely PKK. Things have gotten bad recently. South-eastern Turkey looks much like Iraq right now....

If it is PKK, should I guess that Turkey enters the second pahse of guerilla war? Seems urban warfare will be extended throughout the region...

Let's not hurry. We should just wait and see. An escalation will favour nobody. We don't want thousand Kurdish refugees in Greece, do we?
