I find it hard to believe it was the DC Sniper joke since the guy he said it to said he "gets that a lot" and even laughed "hahaha".

Would be interesting to know if someone Clete had addressed complained about him and which rule they say he was breaking or if the mods are stepping into conversations and banning people based on personal feelings even if the person(s) involved in the conversation aren't upset.

If every member that said something off color, swore, etc to another member were banned most of the forum would be wiped out.... including a few mods and spanning the gamet from our eldest to our youngest members.

I enjoyed Clete's brand of inappropriate and observational humor. I find it interesting how the ban hammer seems to turn a blind eye to some behavior on this board.

I've said worse things but the advantage I had with talking out my arse was being well acquainted with the mods.

I wonder sometimes how people handle comments they don't like IRL. Do they wait till the offending person leaves the room then frantically run and lock the door behind them?

"You said my a** looked fat in this camo, you are banned from the latrines for 14 days!" Then stand at the door "la la la la la I can't hear you la la la la la"
