View Full Version : TAG Spartan Armor

I've reading a handful of forum post and seeing some pictures of the new TAG Spartan Body Armor. However, I can't seem to find any real info on this system or retailers that carry it. Yahoo didn't really give me any valuable hits when I searched for "TAG Spartan Vest" or "Tactical Assault Gear Spartan". Anyone know where I can find on of these or get more info?

I checked the LF board and there are some pictures, but not a lot of details. Furthermore, one post said that the TAG Spartan is not made by the same TAG that I am thinking of, Tactical Assault Gear.

As far as contacting TAG, they still have that coming soon page on their site, and the web store is not showing a new body armor set up.

Like I said, I just can't find much info on this vest and I thought I saw someone here post that they just got one.

Any links or info would be appreciated.

Ask Mr. M. at TAG. He's a real good guy, if in fact this is the same TAG (Tactical Assault Gear).

This is a different TAG. This is Tactical Applications Group. And no offense, but the soldier's are having a hard time getting a hold of it themselves, I don't think they need to compete with airsofters.

Hi. I have a question but I don't want to start a new thread. Does anyone know, if I can put SAPI plates size large into spartan II vest size Medium? Will they fit in any way? I'm asking, because I have IBA vest size large and a spartan vest size Medium, and I'd like to use the same set of plates to both of them. If large SAPIs won't fit medium Spartan, then I'll buy medium plates, but they can wobble in my IBA, am I right?

Oh, crap! Now I see that this thread is from 2005... Will I get a golden shovel? :)
