Can soneone explain the mission/Difference/Capabilities of the MVD, Border/Frontier Troops and that of the Russian army. Do you go to your Russian version of a recruiter and say I want Border Guards or MVD?

There is very interesting heavy sniper rifle in the middle and I'm not quite sure what is it ;)

Looks like a Chechen own construction (very characteristic shock absorbtion butt). Maybe the one called Al'Battar (The Prophet's Sword). There were two models: one fed by 12,7mm x 108 and the Al'Battar II fed by 14,5mm x 114. Barrels were taken from Russian KPVT and DShK HMGs.
