Could you imagine the destructive power of a 10 round magazine big-bore semi-auto, bolt action, .90 caliber sniper rifle?

I would like to see a custom made m82 that could shoot >90 caliber rounds or something. Im curious of the amount of recoil and things like that.

I remeber seeing a doc on anti tank weapons or something somewhere. It showed some South African rifle, I think it was 20 or 30mm, probably 10-12ft long, semi auto. It showed it being fired and I was amazed, I've searched all over for some pics of it but never found it. Anyone know about it?

.50cal is 1/2in right, 12.7mm? So .90 would be almost 1in,26mm? Thats a friggin huge ass rifle like the one I saw.

semi-auto bolt action? wtf? Isnt a rifle one or the other?

Oh, and I think the McBros 95 Caliber rifle (http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/2200/2289.htm) would satisfy any man's need to "compensate"

I hope they make one. Then in around 8-10 years when all the bugs are worked out of it, I'll have tons of people to put to sleep as a CRNA for their shoulder replacement surgeries....

In yugo war they used 20mm "sniper" rifles to blind and knockout tanks. The gunners offen ended with dislocated or broken shoulder.

20mm Lahti AT-rifle, aka. Norsupyssy (elephant gun). Insane kick, nice weapon against russian light tanks and armoured cars. :-)
