to whomever this may concern i came across these pretty cool forums while surfing the net and one of them is moderated by a veteran navy seal who is usually more than happy to answer any questions you may have as long as there declassified in nature.

I haven't checked the link yet and this is in no way a pun directed specially at the gentleman in question, but aren't there a LOT of retired Navy SEALs? I mean as in more than have ever served, if you get my drift?
Independent of the content on the site, the choice of text and table colors is pretty harsh on the eyes.
Where the **** is the loyalty??
What loyalty? Loalty to what?
Its a joke. Here's hood a moderator going to check out another website, and says something a little critical of the site, which is true. I just thought it sounded like a plea for ego stroking.
hah :petting: I'll never turn down a good ego stroking. What's humorous though, is that if you go into the SEALs section over there most of it revolves around "I know this guy who says such and such, I think he's not really a SEAL, how can I be sure?". I think I've read pretty much the exact same topics on every other military board I've seen. If you find yourself in a situation where people around you are blatantly faking some kind of skill or experience, no matter what profession it may be, you need to start hanging out with a different bunch of people.
I'll be damned if I know where I saw it, probably on some Discovery TV show, but there was an interview with some guy who was saying there were so many posing as ex-SEALs.
Do the SEALs have the best "fanbase"? :cantbeli:
Wait, and you thought airsofters were bad? p-)
Well, Special Forces probably has less people posing as them because with all the good press they've been getting on these shows they're being made out to be nice friendly guys who make friends with the people in that country. Nice guy doesn't equal tough guy, so there's no gain among drinking buddies by posing as one. :)

Just a tidbit on fake SEALs. One of the most famous(or notorious depending on how you see it) SEAL imposters, David Silbergeld, ate his gun the other day just down the road from my neighborhood. A convicted cocaine trafficer, he had been fired from his job teaching at a community college up in PA. I work in the city, but a couple of buddies of mine on with county responded. They said the guy did a pretty good job removing the top half of his head. Adios scumbag.
